Owner's Story

The kind of care you thought didn't exist anymore

Dr. Dana LaPeze didn't start Reform because she wanted to run a business. She started it because she was tired of a system that put profits over patients.

At her previous clinic, therapists were double- and triple-booked. Patients got 15 minutes of hands-on time, if they were lucky. Treatment plans were cookie-cutter. Follow-ups were forgotten. Dana knew there was a better way.

Every patient who walks through my door deserves my full attention, my full expertise, and my full hour. That's not a luxury. That's how physical therapy is supposed to work.

Northwestern University DPT

Earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from one of the top programs in the country, with deep training in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.

Board Certified Specialist

Achieved the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification, a distinction held by only 9% of physical therapists nationwide.

Founded Reform PT

After years of watching patients get rushed through overcrowded clinics, Dana opened Reform to deliver care the way it should be, one patient at a time.

Becoming a Mom

Becoming a mom opened Dana's eyes to the needs of prenatal and postpartum care: a severely underserved population she is deeply passionate about supporting. Her own experience now informs every prenatal and postpartum plan she builds.

Why cash-based?

Insurance-based PT clinics have a problem: insurance companies decide how many visits you get, how long each session is, and which treatments are “approved.” That means your therapist is working within someone else's limits, not yours.

At Reform, there are no insurance limitations. Dana designs your treatment plan based on what you actually need, not what a claims adjuster will authorize. Sessions are longer. Care is more thorough. And you don't waste weeks waiting for pre-authorization.

Many patients find that cash-based PT actually costs less overall because they need fewer total visits to reach their goals. And we provide superbills so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan covers it.
