Why cash-based care is worth it
Longer Sessions
Insurance-based PT typically limits sessions to 30 minutes or less. At Reform, every session is a full hour, because that's what effective treatment requires.
No Insurance Limitations
Your treatment plan is designed by your therapist based on what you need, not what an insurance company will authorize. No visit caps, no pre-auth delays.
Faster Results
One-on-one attention plus longer sessions means most patients reach their goals in fewer total visits, often making cash-based care more affordable overall.
Transparent Pricing
You know exactly what each session costs upfront. No surprise bills, no balance billing, no fighting with your insurance company after the fact.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a session cost?
Initial evaluations are $239. After that, we offer package pricing that brings sessions down to $215 (8-pack), $195 (12-pack), or $185 (20-pack). Packages can be paid up front or split into a 3-month payment plan. Exact pricing for your situation is covered in your free discovery call so we can match the right package to your goals.
Do you accept insurance?
Reform PT operates as an out-of-network provider. This means we don't bill insurance directly, but we provide superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
What's a superbill, and how does reimbursement work?
A superbill is an itemized receipt with diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider information. After each session, you receive a superbill to submit to your insurance. Many PPO plans reimburse 40–80% of out-of-network PT costs. Call your insurance and ask about your out-of-network physical therapy benefits.
What questions should I ask my insurance company?
Call the number on the back of your card and ask: (1) Do I have out-of-network physical therapy benefits? (2) What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much has been met? (3) What percentage do you reimburse for out-of-network PT? (4) Is there a limit on the number of visits per year?
Is cash-based PT actually cheaper than insurance PT?
Often, yes. Insurance-based PT typically requires more visits (12 to 20+) with shorter sessions and less one-on-one time. Many Reform patients achieve their goals in 6 to 10 sessions with full-hour, expert-level care. When you factor in copays, deductibles, and the value of your time, the math often favors cash-based care.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We work with patients to find a payment structure that fits their budget. Talk about this during your discovery call. It's never a barrier to getting care.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Absolutely. Physical therapy is an eligible expense for both Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You can pay directly from these accounts.
What if I'm not sure cash-based is right for me?
That's exactly what the free discovery call is for. We'll answer all your questions, explain the costs, and help you figure out if Reform is the right fit, with zero pressure or obligation.
